Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
Hello! My name is Sean Martinez and am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who has worked with children, adolescents and parents as well as neurodivergent individuals. I have experience working in the education sector as a high school counselor and as a behavioral therapist working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. I have experience using cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and art therapy. Working with a wide range of individuals and families, I was able to learn and appreciate the importance of mental health and social services and hope to further develop my knowledge and collaborate with those who seek guidance or support.
As a compassionate mental health counselor, I am dedicated to providing effective and empathetic support to individuals seeking positive change. My experience includes developing and implementing individualized care plans that significantly improve clients’ quality of life. I firmly believe in fostering strong therapeutic relationships and empowering clients through innovative treatment strategies and proactive advocacy.
Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience in various therapeutic interventions, including trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and individual and group counseling. I am adept at conducting thorough assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and utilizing evidence-based practices to address challenging behaviors. My commitment lies in creating supportive and challenging environments where clients can explore their strengths, develop coping mechanisms, and achieve their personal growth goals.
