Meet Paula Whidden! A trauma-informed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor with training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Gottman Marriage Therapy, Prepare/Enrich and anxiety management and treatment. Paula gained a wealth of life experiences before becoming a counselor. She earned a Master of Divinity at Fuller Seminary, became a youth and children’s pastor, raised her kids, and transitioned into counseling. She earned a Master of Science in Counseling degree from Hope International University. Paula works with clients of all ages and backgrounds including children ages 6 and up, teenagers, adult individuals, couples, and senior citizens.
If you have felt stuck and want to discover new ways to process old feelings, you do not have to remain where you are. Paula helps clients to know the hope they can have and provides them with tools and skills to handle life’s difficulties.
