Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
My name is Luciana and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist under the supervision of Eunice Juarez, LCSW. My mission is to decrease the effect of trauma in my clients by increasing their self-awareness and decreasing their reactions to triggers, giving them the tools to self-regulate in situations that are challenging to them. I believe healing requires a safe and accepting place to fully express all of the feelings, thoughts, and experiences that make us who we are. I want to empower people to understand themselves and learn new ways to live in their world. It would be a privilege and an honor to be part of someone’s journey. Also, I am specialized on older adults with cognitive impairment and giving support to their caregivers. This is my second career. I am still practicing as an Occupational Therapist with the geriatric population.
