Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Hi, my name is Liz! I graduated from Umass Global with my Master’s degree and am a registered Associate in Marriage and Family Therapy working under the supervision of a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I am a client-centered therapist utilizing tools from various theoretical orientations, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety (PTSD and Addiction Focused), Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy, according to what is most helpful for you, the client. For those who are interested, when requested, I offer spiritual counseling from the Christian perspective.
I look forward to getting to know you, to give you the time, space and support you need to express your thoughts and emotions. We will process them together as you learn coping skills and move toward your goal.
“Life is beautiful and at times difficult, but we don’t have to do it alone. Sometimes we just need someone to walk with us, to hear us and see us. I’m a relational therapist practicing from an eclectic view with empathy and a nonjudgmental lens. Helping individuals, couples and families communicate, find awareness of issues and grow toward change is an honor. We can connect through evening tele-health appointments. Looking forward to meeting you!”
