Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Hello! My name is Amy and I recently received a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. My experience includes working with a vast range of mental health diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related diagnoses, grief/ loss and other life experiences. I believe everyone should have a safe and healing place to work through life’s difficulties and I believe in empowering my clients to reach their goals using their own expertise and insight. My therapeutic approach is using a client-centered, humanistic approach, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and mind-body approaches to support individuals in a whole-person, strength-based way. I combine insight with action, while keeping careful consideration of cultural concerns and practices. I integrate faith into the therapy process to promote improved mental health for clients from a biblically-informed perspective. I am committed to my clients to work through their difficulties and grow into the person they want to be, uncover their true potential and to lead a life worth celebrating.
